Çağla Koçtürk works in Brussels, as EU Counsellor at the Permanent Delegation of Türkiye to the European Union. In this capacity, she oversees for the financial cooperation between Türkiye and the EU. She also focuses on research & innovation in the EU as well as the Türkiye-EU cooperation in civil protection and crisis management.
Prior to her current position, Çağla worked at the Directorate for EU Affairs of Türkiye for 12 years. During this time, she worked on a variety of critical areas, including institution building and good governance, and the programming of the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA).
Çağla holds an M.A. in Political Studies from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas and a B.A. in International Relations from Galatasaray University of İstanbul.
